About the Author

The author of webgeno is Dan Wheadon. See his portfolio (generated with webgeno) for more information about him.

Dan created webgeno as a simple utility to manage some of his own websites. The original name was just "webgen", but when applying for a SourceForge project he found several other utilities that were already using that name. The feature that he found made webgeno unique was the fact that all the webpage generation was done offline. Hence the addition of the "o" in webgeno. Dan realizes that the "o" could also stand for "online", but prefers to keep the file names short.
